The Delhi anti-Hindu riots were perhaps a pivotal moment in modern history. The anti-Hindu violence which broke out on the 26th of February 2020 in the national capital was a testament to how a deracinated state and the corporate media capitulate to the Islamic mob. The anti-Hindu riots was not a spate of violence which can be viewed and analysed in isolation. As per the chargesheets in the case, the planning for the violence started right from the 5th of December 2019 and after almost 3 years, the conspiracy led to several Hindus being brutally murdered – Ankit Sharma stabbed multiple times, Dilbar Negi burnt alive after his hands and legs were chopped off and many others, who were hacked to death merely for being Hindu. The corporate media, on its part, shamelessly branded the anti-Hindu violence an ‘anti-Muslim pogrom’, ignoring the conspiracy and 3 months of violence which led to the February violence, initiated by the Islamist mobs. 

 

In July 2020, I co-authored a fact-finding report for OpIndia which documented the progression of the violence which led to the Delhi anti-Hindu riots in February 2020. Ever since December 2019, almost on a regular basis, there was low level violence against Hindus, misinformation against CAA/NRC and genocidal calls being made. This publication traces the three months preceding the riots and how, the February violence was merely a culmination of Left activists, Islamists and Global propagandist coming together to unleash Khilafat 2.0 against Hindus.
